A mid-week mid-April swell filled in and the local squads were on it. Years of wave knowledge shined as NY surfers locked into ride after ride during tricky conditions. The gems were out there, long lefts and hollow rights, but you had to separate the wheat from the chaff.
A strong current kept the conveyor belt rolling, and droves of surfers completed laps at what looked like the hike of famous point breaks like Scorpion Bay. Enjoy your rest until the next one cometh.
